Little Miss Muffet by Annette

Little Miss Muffet sat on her Tuffet - and that's just what I'm doing as I'm writing this blog to tell you about the awesome class I took today - yes I learned to make my own tuffet, thanks to excellent teacher Maureen, and 2 metres of fabric from the Two Flying Geese selection.

There are many patterns out there for tuffets, we chose to do one by ErinUnderwoodQuilts.com, entitled Quick and Cute Tuffets. The pattern is clear and easy to follow, and the supply list is complete including the necessary hardware to finish the project.

I had so much fun making this and took it to show someone who is in a care home - within a few minutes I could have sold half a dozen on them to the residents, they are a perfect height to rest your feet upon.  My next tuffet is going to be red, white and blue to go with a friend's decor that includes a Union Jack pillow.  Now I'm off to browse the Two Flying Geese website to purchase my red, white and blue fabric.  I will post a photo of my regal tuffet when its finished.

Lovely, Annette. I can see that any age would love a tuffet, toddler to oldster!
