These pretty, prickly thistles are made with simple diagonal seams and are perfect for using small pieces of your favourite colourful fabrics.
This pattern includes instructions for making a 24" pillow cover, and large and small lap quilts using a 6" x 18" pieced thistle block.
The thistle blocks are made using conventional piecing methods. No paper piecing or templates are used. You will just need your favourite fabric marking tool. A complete list of the pieces needed for a single block is also included, so it's easy to use scraps and/or make blocks to use in other projects.
Please refer to the listing images for fabric requirements.
